The three sentences below sound like they make sense, but there's something wrong with each one of them. 1. This book fills a badly needed gap in your education. 2. Don't go near the water until you've learned how to swim. 3. If you get this message, call me right away; otherwise, don't bother. Read each sentence and tell what's the matter. Solution #1a: 1. No one needs a gap in his or her education. 2. You can't learn how to swim without going into the water. 3.
